Basketball Game Preview: Black Hills Wolves vs. WF West Bearcats

Black Hills hasn't had much luck against WF West recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Black Hills Wolves will be playing in front of their home fans against the WF West Bearcats at 7:00 p.m. Black Hills is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51.7 points per game this season.

Black Hills is headed into Thursday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Tuesday. They lost to Shelton on the road by a 60-46 margin.

Despite the loss, Black Hills had strong showings from Tyler Venable, who posted 18 points, and Cassidy O'Reilly, who had two points along with nine steals and six boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Kiley McMahon, who posted nine points.

Even though they lost, Black Hills smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in ten consecutive contests dating back to last season.

Meanwhile, WF West waltzed into their game on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 60-21 victory over the Thunderbirds. The Bearcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 22 points or more this season.

WF West pushed their record up to 11-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 28 points. As for Black Hills, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-4.
