Softball Recap: Turner Takes a Loss

Turner lost against Highland Park back in April of 2019, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Turner Lions lost 9-3 to the Highland Park Scots.

Adra Ogelvie made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 2-for-3. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played.

Turner's loss dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Highland Park, with the victory, they broke their seven-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-8.

Coming up, Turner will face off against Creekview at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. Turner's pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so Creekview's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Highland Park, they will take on Wakeland at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. Wakeland is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.4 runs per game this season.
