Football Recap: Lamphere Falls Short of Divine Child in the Playoffs + How To Watch

Lamphere and Divine Child squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Lamphere had to settle for second. They were beaten by the Falcons 41-7. The defensive woes were uncharacteristic for the Rams, who until this game were averaging 13.82 points allowed.

Divine Child found their leader in sophomore Drew Sheridan, who threw for 144 yards and two TDs while completing 77.8% of his passes.

Lamphere's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Divine Child, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-1.

Lamphere does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Divine Child, they will square off against Harper Woods at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Falcons 6.9, the Pioneers 12.9) so any points scored will be well earned.
