            The Washington Huskies will head out on the road to  take on  the Newark Memorial Cougars  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Washington has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
Last Wednesday, Washington humbled  Irvington with  an  80-45 victory. The Huskies haven't had any issues with the Vikings recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive  win against them.

It was another big night for  Esean Johnson, who  went 7-for-12  en route to 21 points and seven  boards. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Gianni Clark, who  went 5-for-12  on his way to 16  points and seven  assists.
 Washington  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 12  offensive boards. That's the most  offensive rebounds they've posted since back in December of 2024.
 Meanwhile, Newark Memorial waltzed into their game  on Wednesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They enjoyed a cozy  64-45 victory over the Warriors.
 Newark Memorial's win was  their fourth straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 15-10. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 59.3 points over those games. As for Washington, their record now sits at 16-9.
 Washington came up short against Newark Memorial in their previous meeting  back in January, falling  57-46. Can Washington avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
