Basketball Game Preview: St. George's Gryphons vs. Olive Branch Conquistadors

The St. George's Gryphons will head out to challenge the Olive Branch Conquistadors at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Thursday, St. George's humbled Craigmont with an 83-45 victory. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Gryphons.

St. George's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kamyrn Green, who made all 5 shots he took to post 10 points and eight boards. Jesse Brown was another key player, going 6-for-9 on his way to 12 points and seven rebounds.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Olive Branch, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They took down Holmes County Central 51-37 on Saturday. The Conquistadors haven't had any issues with the Jaguars recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

The victory got Olive Branch back to even at 3-3. As for St. George's, their record is now 2-0.
