Basketball Game Preview: Southwest SD Raiders vs. Rancho Bernardo Broncos

Southwest SD is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They came out on top against Fallbrook by a score of 63-50.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Southwest SD to victory, but perhaps none more so than River Diaz, who posted 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Khalid Deiranieh, who had 15 points.

Meanwhile, Rancho Bernardo waltzed into their game on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 63-52 win over the Matadors.

Rancho Bernardo's win came from a few key players Southwest SD will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Evan Woodland, who put up 17 points. Noah Santa Ana was another key player, putting up 13 points.

Rancho Bernardo's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-10. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.0 points over those games. As for Southwest SD, their win bumped their record up to 24-6.
