Softball Recap: Thursday's Victory Is Drury's Seventh in Last Nine Outings

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Hoosac Valley, Drury was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They blew past the Mount Everett Regional Eagles 10-1. Considering the Blue Devils have won five matchups by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Drury has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-6 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.8 runs over those games. As for Mount Everett Regional, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.

Drury will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Eagles: the pair will be back at it again later today.
