Softball Recap: Flushing Comes Up Short

Flushing was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 13-3 to the Central Wolves. That's two games in a row now that the Raiders have lost by exactly ten runs.

Ashtyn Bodzick was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple and one run. That triple was her first of the season.

Flushing's defeat dropped their record down to 2-17. As for Central, with the win, they broke their six-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-16-1.

While Flushing had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
