With a playoff win on the line, Elkhorn North rose to the challenge on Thursday. They walked away with a 74-65 victory over the Wahoo Warriors. The win made it back-to-back victories for Elkhorn North.

Several Warriors players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Dylan Simons, who almost dropped a double-double with 18 points and nine rebounds. Simons' evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was Cody Hesser, who posted 13 points and five boards.

Elkhorn North's win bumped their record up to 19-5. As for Wahoo, they moved to 22-5 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Elkhorn North didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 58-55 defeat against Scottsbluff on the 14th. Wahoo does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
