Basketball Recap: Lebanon Trail Comes Up Short

Lebanon Trail was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They lost 61-41 to the Centennial Titans. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trail Blazers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 52-36 on January 3rd.

When it comes to explaining why Lebanon Trail lost, don't look at Kason Barnett. Despite the final result, he posted 15 points. Barnett is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Joaquin Gibson, who earned nine points.

Lebanon Trail's defeat dropped their record down to 9-18. As for Centennial, they moved to 15-14 with that win, which also ended their six-game losing streak.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lebanon Trail will host Heritage at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Heritage will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something Lebanon Trail surely won't give up without a fight. As for Centennial, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Emerson at 7:15 p.m. One thing working in Emerson's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five matches.
