Basketball Recap: Enderlin Takes a Loss

Enderlin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They were beaten by Nelson County co-op [Lakota/Dakota Prairie] 78-24. The Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-6.

Despite the loss, Enderlin saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Ethan Cimbura posted five points. Cimbura also set a new season-high mark in field goal percentage with 67%.

Enderlin's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Nelson County co-op [Lakota/Dakota Prairie], the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-2.

Coming up, Enderlin is taking a road trip to square off against Tri-State co-op [Rosholt/Fairmount/Campbell-Tintah] at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Nelson County co-op [Lakota/Dakota Prairie], they will host Park River/Fordville-Lankin at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
