Football Recap: Hillcrest Comes Up Short

Hillcrest came into this matchup off a tough 42-point defeat last Thursday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Trezevant Bears by a score of 16-14 on Thursday. The Vikings have struggled against the Bears recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

The critical scores for Trezevant came from Terry Tucker lll and Tyrese Johnson.

Hillcrest's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Trezevant, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 2-4 record.

Coincidentally, Hillcrest and Trezevant will both be playing Mitchell the next time they take the field. The Vikings will host the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on October 3, while the Bears will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on October 10.
