Basehor-Linwood waltzed into their contest on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Ottawa Cyclones. That's more bragging rights for the Bobcats, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Basehor-Linwood never let Ottawa on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-22.

The win got Basehor-Linwood back to even at 13-13. As for Ottawa, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-17 record this season.

Basehor-Linwood wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Maize South on the 4th. As for Ottawa, they will face off against Spring Hill at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
