There's no place like home for College Park, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They skirted past the Clayton Valley Charter Ugly Eagles 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Falcons have posted since April 10th.

Emma Lowery spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on eight hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than one walk in six consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Alexis Weiler was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI. Viviana Moguel also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.

College Park has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-10-1 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Clayton Valley Charter, their loss ended an eight-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-6-1.
