Volleyball Recap: Lake Worth Comes Up Short

Lake Worth's tournament run continued when they took on Denison on Friday. The Bullfrogs fell just short of the Yellow Jackets by a score of 2-1.

Karina Velez Esteves paced Lake Worth's offense, picking up six kills. Velez Esteves got some help from Sophia Ayala and her five assists. Jasmin Martinez controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Lake Worth's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Denison, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-4.

Lake Worth has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Panther Creek on the 15th. As for Denison, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Bridgeport on the 16th.
