Basketball Game Preview: Wooster Colts vs. Lowry Buckaroos

Wooster is 0-3 against Lowry since December of 2017 but things could change on Monday. The Colts will be playing in front of their home fans against the Buckaroos at 7:30 p.m. Lowry took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Wooster, who comes in off a win.

Wooster is looking to give their home crowd another W after opening their season at home last Saturday. They blew past North Valleys 64-42. The victory continues a trend for the Colts in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won five in a row.

Among those leading the charge was James White V, who went 6-for-13 en route to 14 points and five steals. Cameron Carbonneau was another key player, putting up ten points and three steals.

Meanwhile, Lowry came up short against Virgin Valley on Saturday and fell 62-54. The defeat continues a trend for the Buckaroos in their meetings with the Bulldogs: they've now lost three in a row.

Wooster ended up a good deal behind Lowry when the teams last played back in January of 2023, losing 50-34. Can the Colts avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
