Softball Recap: Bear River Comes Up Short

Bear River lost against Wheatland back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Bruins came up short against the Pirates, falling 20-7. The Bruins have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bear River saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lily Fiddyment, who went 3-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. Another was Macy Martin, who went 1-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.

Bear River's defeat dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Wheatland, the victory (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 16-4.

Bear River does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Wheatland, they will challenge Durham at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
