Basketball Recap: Trinity Collegiate Takes a Loss

Trinity Collegiate was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a blow against the Darlington Falcons, falling 66-31.

Despite the loss, Trinity Collegiate still got an impressive performance from Autumn Kind, who shot 67% from the field on her way to 21 points and eight boards. That was a full 67.7% of the Titans' points, marking the third time in a row Kind has posted more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Crai'Anna Waiters, who put up three points in addition to nine rebounds and six blocks.

Trinity Collegiate's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Darlington, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Trinity Collegiate will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Ben Lippen at 6:15 p.m. on the 10th. As for Darlington, they have already played their next contest, a 53-32 win against Marlboro County on the 2nd.
