Baseball Recap: Red Rock Starts Season with Loss at Home

Red Rock unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Northland Prep Academy Spartans on Wednesday, falling 22-4. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it 15 in a row.

Red Rock saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nathyn D'Angelo, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI.

Looking ahead, Red Rock will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Phoenix Christian at 3:45 p.m. Northland Prep Academy will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Wickenburg at 3:45 p.m. on March 20th.
