Baseball Recap: Mission Comes Up Short

Mission lost against Washington on Wednesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Bears came up short against the Eagles, falling 18-9. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Miguel Pimentel was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Diego Ramirez, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI.

Mission's loss dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Washington, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-14.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mission will take on Summit Shasta at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Washington, they will square off against El Cerrito at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
