Valley had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Southeast Polk Rams with a sharp 11-5 win. That's the fourth time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 6-3 win back in June.

Valley's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-12. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.0 runs over those games. As for Southeast Polk, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 16-16.
