Softball Recap: Goldsboro Comes Up Short

Goldsboro was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Farmville Central Jaguars, falling 11-1.

Goldsboro's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Farmville Central, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-3.

Goldsboro wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 13-2 loss against North Johnston on the 10th. As for Farmville Central, they will venture away from home to face off against Greene Central at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Jaguars are facing the Rams at the right time seeing as the Rams are stuck on an 18-game losing streak.
