Football Recap: Travon Magee and Tyler Walker Secure Win for Magee

Magee's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They managed a 41-36 win over the Mize Bulldogs.

Magee was led to victory by Tyler Walker and Travon Magee. Walker gained 159 total yards and a touchdown, while Magee threw for 170 yards and one touchdown while completing 85.7% of his passes.

Most of the squad's points came courtesy of special teams, who contributed 21 in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Braeden Gregory, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.

Magee now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Mize, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Coming up, Magee will challenge Collins at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Mize, they will square off against Raleigh at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
