It was a good run, but Jesuit unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Santa Cruz Cardinals by a score of 2-1.

Jesuit's loss dropped their record down to 17-12. As for Santa Cruz, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-1.

Jesuit has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Monterey on the 12th. As for Santa Cruz, they will be playing at home against Archbishop Mitty at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Monarchs will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something the Cardinals surely won't give up without a fight.
