Softball Recap: Mt. Baker Beats Ferndale for Their Third Straight Victory

Mt. Baker won the last time they faced Ferndale and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Mountaineers blew past the Golden Eagles 14-6. The Mountaineers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by eight runs or more this season.

The win (which was Mt. Baker's third in a row) raised their record to 6-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 18.0 runs over those games. As for Ferndale, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-4.

Coming up, Mt. Baker will take on Oak Harbor at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Ferndale, they will square off against Everett at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
