Basketball Recap: Scooter Barkley Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Lafayette Christian

Skipstone Academy won the last time they faced Lafayette Christian and things went their way on Thursday too. The Warriors snuck past the Cougars with a 61-56 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Warriors.

Skipstone Academy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Scooter Barkley out in front who posted 33 points. Barkley is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 19 or more in each of the last six games he's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Nick Cloud, who earned 17 points.

As for Lafayette Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 75-44 defeat against Community Christian on the 5th.
