Shadow Ridge is 9-0-1 against Liberty since March of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Stallions will host the Lions at 3:45 p.m. Shadow Ridge will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last.
On Thursday, Shadow Ridge got the win against Valley Vista by a conclusive 26-1. The Stallions might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine contests by six runs or more this season.

Jadyn Scott made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over four innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit (and only one walk). That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in March. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-5 with two runs, two doubles, and two RBI.
In other batting news, Shadow Ridge got a massive performance out of McKayla Ethington, who got on base in all five of her plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. Ethington has been hot recently, having also posted three or more hits the last three times she's played. Liliana Moreno was another key player, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, four runs, and four RBI.
Shadow Ridge kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 22 hits. They are a perfect 14-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
Meanwhile, it may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Liberty ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Kofa, sneaking past 6-5.
Haley Horst spent all eight innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and two unearned) runs on three hits and racked up 13 Ks. Those 13 strikeouts set a new season-high mark for her.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Brooklyn Calsyn, who went 1-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. That triple marked the first that she has hit this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Amaya Romero, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.
Shadow Ridge pushed their record up to 15-9-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 22.3 runs over those games. As for Liberty, their win bumped their record up to 10-15-1.
Monday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Shadow Ridge hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .443. However, it's not like Liberty struggles in that department as they've averaged .324. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
