Softball Recap: Amory Gets the Win

Amory barely beat Smithville the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Panthers' pitchers stepped up to hand the Seminoles a 7-0 shutout on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Panthers have posted against the Seminoles since March 6, 2020.

Amory's victory bumped their record up to 13-11. As for Smithville, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-9.

Coincidentally, Amory and Smithville will both be playing Potts Camp the next time they take the field. The Panthers will host the Cardinals at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Seminoles will play them later in the day, at 4:30 p.m.
