Basketball Game Preview: Crossville Lions vs. Sardis Lions

Crossville hasn't had much luck against Sardis recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Crossville Lions will challenge the Sardis Lions at 5:00 p.m.

Crossville is headed into Saturday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Tuesday. They were beaten by Geraldine 44-15.

Meanwhile, Sardis entered their tilt with Hokes Bluff on Thursday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Eagles 48-22. The Lions pushed the score to 40-12 by the end of the third, a deficit the Eagles cut but never quite recovered from.

Crossville's defeat dropped their record down to 3-18. As for Sardis, they are on a roll lately: they've won 18 of their last 22 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 24-6 record this season.

Crossville was dealt a bruising 73-13 loss at the hands of Sardis when the teams last played on January 9th. Can Crossville avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
