Recap: Tushka Tigers vs. Rock Creek Mustangs
The Tushka Tigers suffered their biggest defeat since December 7, 2023 on Friday. They suffered a rough 54-34 loss at the hands of Rock Creek. Tushka was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 37-15.
Several Tigers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Tucker Willis, who scored six points along with four steals. Tuff Carey was another key contributor, scoring seven points.
Tushka's defeat dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Rock Creek, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 15-4.
Tushka on the road again on Tuesday and play against Coalgate at 8:00 p.m. on January 23rd. Coalgate is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak. As for Rock Creek, they will be playing at home against Boswell at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Boswell will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Oklahoma Rankings (they are ranked 289th, while Rock Creek is ranked 84th).
