Baseball Game Preview: Mogadore Wildcats vs. John F. Kennedy Catholic Eagles

For the second straight game, Mogadore will face off against John F. Kennedy Catholic. The Wildcats will be playing at home against the Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Mogadore comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

Mogadore fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against John F. Kennedy Catholic on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 2-1.

Mogadore got a good showing from Jimmy Woods, who pitched four innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits. Woods has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

With the win, John F. Kennedy Catholic broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-4. As for Mogadore, their loss dropped their record down to 0-8.
