Volleyball Recap: Hunt Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Hunt lost against Princeton back in August, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Warriors took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Princeton scored at least 17 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 22-25, 25-17, 25-20.

Makenzie Collins paced Hunt's offense, picking up 13 kills. Collins got some help from Addie Bennett and her 15 assists. Bennett was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Leading Princeton to victory were Addison Taylor and Kensley Evans. Taylor had five blocks and three digs, while Evans had ten kills, six blocks, and two aces. Taylor is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 15 or more in each of the last 25 games she's played dating back to last season.

Hunt's loss dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Princeton, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season.

Hunt will be playing at home against Southern Wayne at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Princeton, they will head out to challenge Wallace-Rose Hill at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
