Baseball Recap: Democracy Prep Agassi Campus Comes Up Short

Democracy Prep Agassi Campus extended their losing streak to seven on Thursday, dropping their season record down to 1-16 in the process. They lost 15-0 to the Moapa Valley Pirates. That's two games in a row now that the Blue Knights have lost by exactly 15 runs.

Democracy Prep Agassi Campus saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rick Bradley, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

As for Moapa Valley, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 18-10. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 matches by six runs or more this season.

On Moapa Valley's side, Tyson Pettingill was incredible, firing off two home runs, three runs, and three RBI while going 3-for-3. That's the most home runs Pettingill has posted since back in April. The team also got some help courtesy of Derek Nava-Gallegos, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

As of now, neither Democracy Prep Agassi Campus nor Moapa Valley have any future games scheduled.
