Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Albany walked away with it. They were the clear victors by a 14-3 margin over the St. Patrick-St. Vincent Bruins on Friday. Considering the Cougars have won seven matches by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Caroline Snyder made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched four innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off two hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Lauren Jones was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Riley Wilson, who went 2-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.
