Softball Recap: Kane Takes a Loss

Kane was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 18-8 to the Port Allegany Gators. On the bright side, the eight- run effort marked the Wolves' highest-scoring matchup to date.

Kane's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Port Allegany, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Coming up, Kane will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Eisenhower at 4:15 p.m. As for Port Allegany, they will face off against Northern Potter at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
