Baseball Recap: East Union Takes a Loss

East Union lost against Central Catholic back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The East Union Lancers lost 13-6 to the Central Catholic Raiders. The Lancers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Brayden Camara was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring three runs and stealing Two bases. while going 3-for-4. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Peyton Heath, who went 1-for-4 with one home run.

East Union's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Central Catholic, they pushed their record up to 7-3 with the win, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season.

While East Union had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 1:00 p.m. on Friday.
