Red Mountain waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with ten straight wins... but they left with 11. They blew past the Shadow Ridge Stallions 11-1. That's two games straight that the Mountain Lions have won by exactly ten runs.

Kendall Cochran made a big impact no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 11 over six innings pitched. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one RBI.

In other batting news, Red Mountain got a massive performance out of Payton Westra, who went 3-for-4 with one home run and two runs. Another player making a difference was Kayla Jones, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4.

Red Mountain always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .576. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Shadow Ridge only posted an OBP of .150.

Red Mountain pushed their record up to 11-3-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.5 runs on average over those games. As for Shadow Ridge, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 9-8-1.

Looking ahead, Red Mountain will host Mountain View at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Shadow Ridge, they will venture away from home to take on Mountain Ridge at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
