Softball Recap: Marshfield Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Marshfield put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on the Pembroke Titans with a sharp 16-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Rams, who have now won three contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Sarah McIntyre was a standout: she scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4. She also brought in an RBI, marking her first of the season. Madison Adams was another key player, scoring two runs while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances.

Marshfield was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .556. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .323 or higher every time they've taken the field this season.

Marshfield's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Pembroke, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Marshfield will be playing at home against Hingham at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Pembroke, they will face off against North Quincy at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
