Basketball Recap: Trinity Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Trinity Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 19th straight defeat dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 43-11 loss at the hands of the Halifax Academy Knights. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Knights apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.

Halifax Academy found their leader in sophomore Kaneisha Washington, who posted 16 points. Another player making a difference was Ki'Arah McMillian, who put up ten points.

Trinity Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Halifax Academy, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Trinity Christian Academy will take on Forest Lake Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Halifax Academy, they will face off against Calvary Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
