Basketball Recap: Pima Takes a Loss

Pima lost against Arizona Lutheran Academy last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Pima Roughriders fell to the Arizona Lutheran Academy Coyotes 60-55.

Lauren Riesop continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Arizona Lutheran Academy, shooting 48% from the field en route to 34 points and three steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which Riesop has scored at least a third of Arizona Lutheran Academy's points. Another player making a difference was Emma Drexler, who posted nine points and three steals.

Pima's loss dropped their record down to 22-10. As for Arizona Lutheran Academy, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 26-6.

Pima does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Arizona Lutheran Academy, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 52-22 defeat against Miami on the 1st.
