Corinth had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.3 goals) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Grenada Chargers a 6-0 shutout. Considering the Warriors have won nine matchups by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Grenada from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Madison Gates led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Corinth's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-3. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those three contests. As for Grenada, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Corinth and New Hope will compete for holiday cheer at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Grenada, they will be home for the holidays to greet South Panola at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
