The West Noble Chargers will take on the Wawasee Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Wawasee took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on West Noble, who comes in off a win.

West Noble is headed out to face Wawasee after opening their season at home and giving their fans just what they were looking for. West Noble really took it to Central Noble for the full four quarters, racking up a 55-7 win at home. Given the Chargers' advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana football rankings (they are ranked 64th, while the Cougars are ranked 265th), the result on Friday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Estil Pruitt was a one-man wrecking crew for West Noble as he rushed for 155 yards and two touchdowns on only 15 carries. Pruitt's longest rush was for an impressive 55 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total. The team also got some help courtesy of Trey Shisler, who rushed for 44 yards and a touchdown.

Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, West Noble was moving up and down the field and finished the game with 442 total yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Central Noble only gained 40.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to West Noble's defense and their four sacks. Jordan Eash was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up twohimself. Teegan Clouse was another major factor on D, picking up 0.5 sacks and making 11 total tackles (4.5 for loss).

Wawasee kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They were dealt a 44-0 loss at the hands of Tippecanoe Valley. The Warriors have struggled against the Vikings recently, as their matchup on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

West Noble beat Wawasee 20-12 in their previous matchup back in August of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for West Noble since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
