Baseball Recap: Seagraves Comes Up Short

Seagraves came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 17-2 to the Alpine Bucks.

Seagraves saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Noah Sarabia, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double and one RBI. That's the most hits Sarabia has posted since back in March of 2024.

Seagraves' loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Alpine, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-4.

Seagraves wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, an 11-8 defeat against Midland Texas Leadership Charter Academy on the 8th. As for Alpine, they will challenge Monahans at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Alpine's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last four games.
