Lafayette Central Catholic entered their tilt with Hamilton Heights on Friday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They claimed a resounding 60-14 victory over the Hamilton Heights Huskies. Given the Knights' advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 54th, while the Huskies are ranked 275th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Despite the loss, Hamilton Heights still got an impressive performance from Katie Brown, who posted six points. What's more, Brown also racked up two blocks, the most she's had since back in November of 2024.

Lafayette Central Catholic has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.7 points per game. As for Hamilton Heights, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-15 record this season.

Lafayette Central Catholic will square off against Lafayette Jefferson at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hamilton Heights, they will head out on the road to take on Heritage Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Heritage Christian has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 184 points over their last three matchups.
