Softball Recap: Heritage Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Heritage Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against the Bessemer Academy Rebels, falling 17-2. If the Eagles were looking for revenge after losing 19-1 to the Rebels when the teams met back in March of 2020, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Heritage Christian Academy saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Maggie Ingram, who scored a run while going 1-for-1. EJ Hallmark also deserves some recognition as she got her first hit of the season.
