Football Recap: Sheldon Starts Season with Loss on the Road

Sheldon had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They had to suffer through a 51-7 loss at the hands of the Lake Oswego Lakers. The Irish were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lakers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in November of 2022.

Lake Oswego has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coming up, Sheldon will take on West Salem at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup will give the Irish their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Lake Oswego, they will square off against Central Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
