Volleyball Recap: Chickasha Comes Up Short

Chickasha saw some tournament action on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Putnam City North Panthers. The Fighting Chicks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

KK Willard paced Chickasha's offense, picking up five kills. Willard got some help from Zoee Jones and her nine assists. Jones was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Chickasha's defeat dropped their record down to 11-10. As for Putnam City North, their win bumped their record up to 9-7.

Chickasha has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Bethany on the 13th. As for Putnam City North, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Shawnee on the 19th.
