Soccer Game Preview: Eastmark vs. Prescott

The Eastmark Firebirds will venture away from home to take on the Prescott Badgers at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Eastmark is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.6 goals per game this season.

Eastmark is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over Mingus. The win was familiar territory for the Firebirds, who have now won three matchups in a row.

Reegyn Abbott and Mckennah Geier scored both of Eastmark's goals, bringing their combined season tally to nine goals.

Meanwhile, Prescott faced Crismon in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. Prescott fell just short of Crismon by a score of 3-2. That makes it the first time this season the Badgers have let down their home crowd.

Eastmark's victory bumped their record up to 14-6. As for Prescott, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-2.
