Volleyball Recap: Living Rock Academy Comes Up Short

The Living Rock Academy Bobcat came up short against the McCauley Christian Academy Warriors on Monday and fell 3-1. While the Bobcat didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Warriors 25-20 in the first set.

Living Rock Academy started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 20-25, 25-19, 26-24, 25-13.

Eden Turner paced Living Rock Academy's offense, picking up six kills. Turner got some help from Hailee Cox and her ten assists. Elisabeth Draheim controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Living Rock Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for McCauley Christian Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Living Rock Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against New Braunfels Thunder on the 26th. As for McCauley Christian Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against Lifegate Christian on the 29th.
