Basketball Game Preview: D'Hanis Cowboys vs. Rocksprings Angoras

D'Hanis is 1-9 against Rocksprings since January of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The D'Hanis Cowboys will look to defend their home court against the Rocksprings Angoras at 5:00 p.m. D'Hanis is coming into the match hot, having won their last 11 games.

D'Hanis will head into Saturday's contest hoping to keep the good times rolling: they proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by 34) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Medina, sneaking past 30-28.

Meanwhile, Rocksprings played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 60-37 to Nueces Canyon. The Angoras were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 39-17.

D'Hanis' win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-7. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 17.8 points per game. As for Rocksprings, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-17.

D'Hanis beat Rocksprings 39-26 when the teams last played back in January. Will D'Hanis repeat their success, or does Rocksprings have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
